Polymer Workshop

Wednesday July 2nd.

The Polymer Ambassadors Program has been active since 1992. They are visible at area and national NSTA (National Science Teachers Association) conferences, local school in-service meetings for teachers, local area schools for students, national ACS (American Chemical Society) conventions, and summer conferences like BCCE and ChemEd. They are supported by the The Intersociety Polymer Education Council (IPEC)

Their interactive hands-on workshop at NERM2008 will explore polymer properties and the impact of polymers on our day-to-day lives.

Pre-registration is strongly recommended (sign up when you register for NERM2008). You should be prepared to devote two hours to this activity. Spaces are limited and priority will be given to teachers and home school parents.
