- Our opening reception on Sunday evening will have a green and environmental chemistry theme. It will feature music and a display of chemistry haikus created by children in Vermont as a part of the ACS Green Mountain Local Section earth day celebrations.
- One of our main networking events will be the poster session on Monday afternoon.
- Join us after dinner on Monday (at 9:00pm) for the NERM2008 Comedy Night with Rusty DeWees and Pete Ludovice (cash bar)
- There will be no technical sessions on Tuesday afternoon. Sessions will run in the morning and evening on that day, leaving the afternoon free for you to enjoy our beautiful location. Pick up a boxed lunch (courtesy of the ACS Directors) and head out on a tour to sites of particular local or chemical interest.
- Our conference dinner and chemistry cruise will conclude NERM2008 on Wednesday evening. This will be the occasion for presentation of awards, and for celebrating the success of our meeting as sun sets on yet another (hopefully) beautiful summer day.
