Chemistry Professionals at NERM 2008
The 37th American Chemical Society Northeast Regional Meeting in Burlington, Vermont will be the premiere chemistry conference in the northeastern United States in 2008. If you make your living from chemistry - in industry, academia, working for a government laboratory, or as high school chemistry educator - this conference is for you.
- Opportunities for developing collaborations with academic and industrial chemists in our region and in Canada - the NERM2008 program is designed to optimize networking and cross-discipinary interactions.
- Topical symposia will highlight the latest results in a number of hot research areas including green chemistry, responsive polymers, chemical biology, environmental chemistry, organic synthesis, layered materials, 21st centuary energy, industrial chemistry and innovation, the Cope Scholar Symposium, inorganic chemistry, physical chemistry, analytical chemistry, medicinal chemistry, biochemistry, and modeling and computer simulation.

A range of career workshops and professional development workshops will be available at NERM2008 (there is no additional cost for for NERM2008 attendees, but space is limited and pre-registration is required for some of these popular events).

- A day of continuing education will be available for high school teachers
